Irvine is the city Diana has called home for more than 25 years. Her two kids attend public schools here. She has made many friends and loves the community. She enjoys Irvine’s outdoor spaces, jogging, hiking, tennis, and photography. Safe neighborhood and excellent public education have inspired her to give back to our community. Diana is running for city council to preserve and improve our great city.
As a community volunteer, Diana has been a soccer mom and swimming team mom. During her time serving as co-chaired Irvine Children, Youth and Family Advisory Committee, she always listened and worked for the best interest of Irvine residents. Diana is also a member of UCI’s Social Science Leadership Society addressing veterans’ issues, disability services, and entrepreneurship within our community.
Professionally, Diana earned a Master’s Degree in Engineering and has been building and driving highly successful software development teams. Technology has many applications to successfully running a city. With both, results don’t just happen--they take significant input, collaboration, planning, and execution to achieve desired outcomes
